Like a lot of other things in the life of Courtney Love — a musician, an actress and the wife of the late Kurt Cobain — her house hunt, a relentless and dramatic search for a West Village town house, took on an epic nature.
Ms. Love has finally found a town house, although she’s renting it. The four-story building is on West 10th Street and was listed by Halstead Property for $28,000 a month. She signed a lease on Feb. 17, agreeing to pay about $27,000 a month, brokers familiar with her rental said. The broker representing Ms. Love’s new landlords, Francesca Segreti of Halstead Property, declined to comment. According to the listing, the property has three bedrooms, five bathrooms, six fireplaces, colorfully painted walls and is “made for luxury living and entertaining.”
